Merry Christmas 2016

Christmas 2016.

Before it gets too far gone, I need to recap Christmas Day.  We had a nice low key holiday season this year.  On Christmas Day the boys woke up early and went hunting while Gray and I slept in.  she had a little bit of trouble sleeping in and patiently waiting for presents.  I let her have her stocking and she was able to see one of her gifts that was not wrapped.

When the boys made it back, we made breakfast and opened gifts with our little family.  Later that night, we headed to my in-laws house to celebrate Christmas with Bobby's family.  As normal, the kids were spoiled by their Nana and PawPaw.

So far 2017 is going great for all of us.  We are coming to the end of basketball season for Tanner, and he will start training for Track & Field next.  I'm busy organizing and purging the house.  And am telling myself I'm going to start running tomorrow every day.  Maybe I just need to go try on a swimsuit to get myself in gear. :)

So we never forget Christmas 2016. . . . .

Christmas morning Santa gifts with my tree that can't manage to stay entirely lit the whole season.

All four of my babies posed for me before we headed out to Nana's house.

We got together at our house with my mom and her husband Roger on New Years Day.  I got a quick picture of my mommy & me.

And that's it 2016, it was fun!

Big10 @ Christmas

Now that all the Christmas cards have been stamped, mailed, and received. . . .
I have been waiting patiently to post a few pictures from Big10's Christmas card shoot.  He really did not want to take pictures.  But we somehow managed to still get a few card worthy photos.

It is very common to see people around town wearing long sleeves and shorts.  You just never know what the weather is going to be like in Alabama.  This particular day was pretty hot.  But for the sake of the "Christmas photo", I managed to get a long sleeve shirt on the boy.

These last two actually made the card.  And the very last one is going to find a home on the wall. :)

I'll be back soon with more update.  For now, I'm right back into the Christmas festivities.

Christmas Card Fun

It's that time of year again.  Time for me to start frantically shopping for outfits, picture locations, and a Christmas card design.  I really enjoy creating our Christmas card each year.  I get somewhat stressed trying to choose the perfect photos and the perfect card layout.  After all, this is the card that we will send out to EVERYONE we know!!  This is why I am so thankful for Tiny Prints.

I have spent the past two days browsing through the awesome selection of cards that Tiny Prints offers.  They have so many designs to choose from.  The filters on the side bar make it so easy to narrow down the options, and find the perfect card for your family.

I'll go ahead and share a few of my favorites with you. . .
I am loving the verse on this one.  I also love that they have the coordinating design on the back of the card as well.
I think the hardest thing for me this year will be deciding how many pictures I want to use on my card.  Do I want one picture, two to three, or as many as possible?  Last year I went with 6 or 7 on the card.  Maybe I should change it up this year?  I like this. . . .
or this. . .
The designs can be customized to your liking.  Whether you want a flat 5x7 card, a 5x7 folded card, a tri-fold, etc.  The possibilities are endless.  I am looking forward getting my photos done and getting started early this year.

Why don't you go look around at the cards Tiny Prints has to offer?  You might just find something you like for yourself.  And even better than that, if you have your own blog, Tiny Prints is looking for other fab bloggers to help spread the word about their great Christmas card selection.  If you are interested, go here and fill out the form for more information.  Get going and get in the Christmas spirit y'all!

**Tiny Prints is providing me with 50 free Christmas cards in exchange for spreading the word about their 2011 Christmas card selection.**

2010 Christmas Card

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is designing the family Christmas card.  This is a task I start thinking about the day after Halloween.  I love everything about it!  Picking the picture location, the kids outfits, the card layout, the return address labels, and even the pen I will use to address them!  It is all so much fun to me, and I can't wait to get them out each year to our friends and family.

Do you know what I love even more?  Receiving Christmas cards in the mail.  I have really received some good ones this year!  I love seeing how all the kids and families are growing and changing from year to year.

So, I hope you guy's enjoy our Christmas card for the year!  This is for all of you out there that did not get one in your mailbox. . . .

Merry Christmas from our home to yours!!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Christmas Cards from Shutterfly. . .

Ahhh. . .It is SO that time of  year again.  Time for me to get completely stressed out trying to pick a design for our yearly Christmas card.  I have successfully completed the hardest part of this already, the photos.  The card photo shoot was a lot of fun!  The weather was beautiful, and the park was gorgeous!!  The scene is set for a perfect Christmas card.  You can imagine my excitement when I heard about what Shutterfly is offering us Bloggers this year!!  In turn for blogging to help spread the word about all that Shutterfly has to offer, they are giving me 50 FREE Christmas cards!!  You read that right. . .50 FREE cards!!  This is a Christmas gift in itself!

I have never used Shutterfly before, so I am excited about the opportunity to check out what they have to offer.  When I visited the site, I was blown away with all of the wonderful designs they have for Christmas Cards.  It is next to impossible to choose a favorite, but I am LOVING these.

The card selection is awesome, but that doesn't even come close to what all Shutterfly has to offer.  I found some great gift ideas.  Things like photo mugs for grandma, a calendar for Dad's office, and for that scrapbook lover, photo books.  I think the photo book would be an excellent way to document family vacations, high school graduations, pregnancy highlight's, etc.  The possibilities are endless!

I also love the birthday party invitations!  How precious!!  This is another thing I stress out about.  With the kids birthdays coming in the spring, I will definitely keep these easy invitations in mind.

Dont' take my word for it, head on over to Shutterfly right now to see what you can find for yourself.  What an easy way to take some of the stress out of shopping for your loved ones this holiday season.  And if you want to try Shutterfly for yourself, read more about this promotion offered to bloggers HERE.
