Pumpkin Patch 2016

This little girl is a social butterfly.  She is always on the go, and loves to be with her friends as much as possible.

A couple of weeks before Halloween, she and a group of friends went to the Pumpkin Patch for some fall fun.  I did not make the trip, but am so thankful for the great moms that sent me tons of pictures throughout the day.

Prepare yourself for cuteness overload.  All the kids are turning thirteen this year and I can't believe they are TEENAGERS!

They had a zip line and this was Gray's first time to try it.  She loved it!

Old Bakers Farm

A couple of weekends ago, babyG and I went out to Old Bakers Farm.  The farm is right outside of Birmingham.  We were invited to go along with my MIL, my two SIL's, and three of my nephews.

The place is just beautiful!
Lot's of cotton and pumpkins.  They had so many fun activities for the kids.  Like a Hay maze, a Corn Maze, "Hay Mountain", a petting zoo, horse rides, and the actual hay ride out to the field for pumpkin picking.
This was the first time for G to ride a big horse.  She really enjoyed it.
This is the Hay Mountain.  All the kids were going crazy climbing up to the top over and over again.
The day was full of so many photo opportunities that I had a hard time choosing which ones to put in this post for "memory keeping".
This has to be my favorite from the day.  BabyG in the corn field, the back lighting was just so pretty!  Almost as pretty as that little girl.
G enjoyed picking cotton from the field.  She tried to be sure and pick enough to make a sweater later on.

I'm pretty sure that Old Bakers Farm is going to become a yearly tradition.  And if i can get things timed correctly, next year the boys will tag along with us.  Now, we are getting ready to carve the pumpkins that we picked up at the farm.  I just can't believe that October is already coming to an end!!  It will be time to start planning Thanksgiving dinner soon. :)

Touches of Fall

I can't believe I posted about what Fall means to us, and I left out one of the most important things.
DECORATING!!
I love holiday decorating more than anything, and I am set for the next few months.  So far, we have added a few things inside for Fall.
Now we are working on our outdoor Halloween decor.  I have the best little helper in the world, and she loves it as much as I do.
It has been really cool here all weekend.  As a matter of fact, we have not had the air conditioner on all weekend and I am still cold.  It's definitely Fall.
I hope you all are getting cooler weather too.  And if you are doing some holiday decorating, I hope you are having as much fun as we are!!

I ♥ Fall!!!

It has been a beautiful fall weekend.  I went into this weekend with BIG hopes of painting the kid's bathroom.  That didn't quite work out the way I planned.  I really just did not have the time to get the supplies and get it done.  I have picked out a color atleast.  Stay tuned for more on that project.
This is what did happen over the weekend. . . .
Baby G finally lost her second top (front) baby tooth.  Just in time to add her two front teeth to her Christmas wish list.
We have also been doing some fall baking.
I was going to make some bread that my friend told me about.  You combine a box of Spice Cake mix with a can of pumpkin pie filling and it makes a really tasty pumpkin bread.  However, Wal-Mart was out of Spice Cake, and I am just too impatient to wait or go to another store.  So I got this "Quick" Pumpkin bread.
I have not tasted it yet, but it smells FABULOUS!!
I also made my personal fall favorite.  Pumpkin pie.  I have already had a slice topped with cool whip.  It was perfect, possibly the best pumpkin pie I have ever made!!
Now on to the last thing on this weekends agenda.  I've got to get a certain girl out of the tub,  settled with a blanket and some popcorn in the living room.  And find her brother and get him in there too.  Why?  We are watching "How to Train Your Dragon".  Yay!!

I hope  you all have a great week!
