It's back to school time again. This year we have a middle schooler. We were both a little nervous and excited at the same time for this new phase of life. So far she has completed her first two days and still stands by her original opinion.
The week before school we had schedule pick up and 6th grade orientation. I was working but Bobby did a good job of getting a picture of Gracyn at her locker. She was excited to have a top locker and a "great" schedule. Tanner did not pose for any pictures or have anything to say about his schedule. "It's just school" he says.
School started on Thursday, August 13th. By some form of a miracle, Tanner agreed to take a first day picture for me. Sometimes he can be a sweet kid.
Gracyn was so excited for her first day of 6th grade that she could hardly sleep the night before. She had her best friend ride to school with us, so that she would not have to walk into school alone.
There she goes. . .
They both had really good reports for the first day back. Gracyn especially likes changing classes. And she said she has nice teachers. :)
