Last Thursday, March 17th, someone special celebrated her 7th birthday.
I am so bad at blogging and getting the birthday post up on the actual birthday. Sometimes life just gets in the way.
We had already celebrated babyG's birthday with friends a couple of weeks ahead of time, so the actual day was very low key. I baked her favorite Funfetti cake, and she helped me ice and sprinkle it. A few kids from the neighborhood came over to sing Happy Birthday and eat cake and Ice cream with her.
I love her and her little injured nose in these pictures. She has been practicing her flips on the trampoline lately and the trampoline got the best of her.
Thursday afternoon Big10 had a baseball practice scheduled, so we did a little pre celebrating on Wednesday night. The four of us went bowling and then on to Chuck E Cheese for pizza and games. It is somewhat of a tradition for us to go to Chuck E Cheese on G's birthday.
We waited until her actual birthday to give her the gifts from us. She received the electric scooter that she has been begging for, and she LOVES it!!
She also got a cute houndstooth purse and a jelly watch that she picked out while we were shopping one day.
I can hardly believe that our baby is SEVEN years old. It seems like yesterday that we were preparing for the arrival of our baby girl. The time passes so quickly that it makes my heart ache!!
Dear God,
Please slow us down.

Aww! Happy birthday sweet girl!
Her birthday sounded like a huge success. Birthdays should always last a couple of weeks. Tell her Happy birthday from your bloggy friend Pam!
