The Rams made it into the playoffs with a historical season record of 9-1. Unfortunately, this was the final game. It was very close and they played their best. I was so proud of all the boys on the team and how well they played, and how well they handled the loss.
It was a bit hard down in the end zone after the game with all the Seniors. Lots of tears were shed, and it was almost more than this mommas heart could handle. This was the last time for these boys to have stepped out on that field together and they did not want to leave the field. For most of them, it was the very last time they will ever play football.
Let's be honest, nothing beats the excitement of high school football. I am so sad that it is over.
